Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix the Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix demonstrated a talent for sports early, and discovered her ability to sprint while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Just 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished 2nd in the 200 meters during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished high school and signed a pro-contract with Adidas. In the year 2004, she was enrolled at her first year at the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record running 200 meters for 22.18. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to take home the 200 meters race. In 2007 she defended the title by beating her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top third of each of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
